First up is a bento bag. I followed the excellent instructions from here.
Stowe Bag from Grainline Studio.
This weekend I finally got a couple of new garments cut out. The first one is the Inari Tee Dress from Named patterns. This is a "wearable" muslin though the wearable part is highly doubtful. Hemlock Tee before and recently wrote about it here. It is something that works for me and I feel really lucky to find something I really enjoy wearing.
ori-some - beni kake - sorairo". I bought this from Miss Matatabi. I just love this fabric. There is subtle shading and this fantastic silvery print, like a tattoo (I call it a "ghost" print) which runs close to the selvage. I knew I had to try to utilize it as much as I could. Here I used it on the center back.
I sense more sewing to come! Goodbye February, Hello March!
